National Day of Action - Wed 20th August 2008, 1pm Wesley Church, Perth SOS - SUPPORT OUR STUDENTS: Why? Student income support is set below the poverty line; 1 in 8 students can't afford regular meals; Centrelink doesn't think you're independent until you're 25; 1 in 4 students have their studies adversely affected by financial stress... There will be speakers, some entertainment and a healthy amount of attention-grabbing noise. Each campus will be organising transport to the city before 1pm.
